When leaving Xiamen via airport you have to pass through many security and passport checks. But don’t be afraid of it!
Duty free offerings are very limited and at least for the chocolate was very much overpriced.
When you leave for Amsterdam your flight is pretty much the last flight for the day so the airport can feel a bit more empty then usual.
